World Kindness Day started at a conference in Japan in 1998 by the World Kindness Movement. It has been celebrated around the world ever since!

There are two things you’ll need to do. First, sign up in the green box titled “Join the Read Aloud!” You’ll receive an eMail in November with a link to the live stream. Next, put the event in your calendar and be sure to adjust to your local time (the broadcast will be at 10am MST). Oh, and you’re going to want to post on Facebook and/or X to celebrate with others from around the world!
